How To...

How to remove those pesky stickers on glass items.  You know what I'm talking about.  You purchase something from a store with a sticker price tag, and spend what seems like forever trying to scrape it all off.  These few tricks will help you.
First, take the sticker off.  If it is too difficult, just take off whatever wants to come off easy.
Second, grab acetone nail polish remover, and a cotton ball.  Put some of that polish remover on the cotton ball.
Next, rub on sticker area until it comes off.  Yep, it's that easy.  It literally took me less than a minute.  Some harder ones take a little longer, but not much.  I used 1 more cotton ball with water to wipe the surface clean.
Viola!  Ready for use.

Laundry Redo...

This color is in my entire house.  It's ok, but not my first choice.  Time for a change.  So, I started in my laundry room.
I used wipes to clean off the baseboards and anywhere else I wanted the paint to stick.
I taped the edges.  For clean straight lines, I first painted white around the edges to match the ceiling.  That way when it bled through it matched the ceiling.  After letting the white paint dry for 20 minutes, I painted this beautiful blue color.
The finished results.  (Included in this transformation are my much needed new washer and dryer.)  My next attempt will be my 1/2 bath.
